Liz Silverman is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego, with BAs in Psychology and Theatre. Her fortes are administration, stage management and playwriting, but she has done everything from lighting to directing to (gasp!) acting. Her plays, Unplugged and Water Lords, were produced respectively as part of Scripps Ranch Theatre's 3rd and 4th annual Out on a Limb new play festival. She also wrote The Art of Disappearing, which was workshopped and had a staged reading with Playwrights Project at 10th Avenue Theatre. She is a co-founder of New Play Cafe, and she has worked with various other local companies in assorted capacities including Playwrights Project, Cygnet Theatre, Moxie Theatre, and Nomads Theatre Company.
